Evil-Ho-oh : VGC16 Teambuild

Hey guys today I am back with a team report on a team that I recently built as the title hints that I am using a yveltal ho-oh composition, that might not have been the only surprise and at more anti-meta mon and move choices rolled their way in to make place and make this combination work out well, one of the favorite things about this team is that against the big teams and against wolfe’s winning team I have solid strategies, without further reveals I would get into this report: The Team: Yveltal @ Assault Vest   Ability: Dark Aura   Level: 50   EVs: 236 HP / 4 Def / 44 SpA / 36 SpD / 188 Spe   Modest Nature   - Foul Play   - Dark Pulse   - Oblivion Wing   - Sucker Punch Yveltal with assault vest can be a boss, a lot of people might not really like the idea of this pokemon or this variant but it surely did what I wanted to do on the team, explanation is that it isn’t an yveltal that is supposed to dish out as much damage as possible during games, howe

Blue Squad with a Twist: VGC 2016 Team Report

May I ask why does every dialogre team becomes a blue squad I don’t get it so won’t you, but let’s get me into explaining my team. Theory of this team: I built this team around the following idea or theory: 1-       Early game use loads of offensive pressure from kyogre to get a 4-2 situation. 2-       Use Marowak’s perish song to stall out the game. Now that you now what I wanted the team to be built around I can explain in depth now: The Team: Kyogre-Primal @ Blue Orb   Ability: Primordial Sea   Level: 50   EVs: 108 HP / 116 Def / 252 SpA / 28 SpD / 4 Spe   Modest Nature   IVs: 0 Atk   - Water Spout   - Surf   - Ice Beam   - Protect Kyogre has to be the most important member of this team, it also wouldn’t be a lie if I say that the team is built around this pokemon and it is the start of the team because taking the first step as a plan in teambuilding always kinda seems the most important. But the against the kyogre is very simple I keep

Summarizing the Pokemon Worlds Championships 2016 in my View:

Hi guys today I am back and apologies for this post being a little or say a week late as I didn’t had much free time to do this so writing it off on the weekend, so welcome to the post where I will give you people my view on this year’s pokemon world championships held in Boston. This will be done under five section i.e revealed pokemons, rising starts, In interesting teams, meta shift expectations and finally meta-breaking. Without further ado let’s get into this post: Newly revealed pokemons: So during the time of pokemon world championships 4 new pokemons were revealed and yes kinda count In that turtonator too hence five, so what are my thoughts on these? : Crawbrawler: The pokemon revealed in the opening ceremony of the pokemon world championships, the pure fighting type crab, on the first look I was very unimpressed but then idk why it had me hyped to get it in use. Crawbrawler as looks may deceive is not a water or a ground type for a crab at all, all it does is

Facing the Heat Wave : VGC 2016 Teambuild

Hey guys today I am back with another team of mine, this time I’ll be discussing my standard giratina team with a lot of sun related elements which I found very fun and useful in the vgc format, hopefully you will like this team and will enkoy this post, without further ado, let’s get into this post: The Team: Giratina @ Leftovers   Ability: Pressure   Level: 50   Shiny: Yes   EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 12 SpA / 100 SpD / 140 Spe   Timid Nature   IVs: 0 Atk   - Dragon Pulse   - Icy Wind   - Calm Mind   - Tailwind First up the centre of this team as known as standard giratina, I was really always very much surprised by how was it workable which was exactly why I choosed this pokemon as the first member of my team and decided to make it workable, at first it was a very bad choice scarf giratina + infernape combination which as you’d guess was extremely underwhelming even with a strategic play to make, later I turned it into a variant I have heard of in vgc

Team Coal, Niche gold! Anti-meta Niche Pokemon Analyses. VGC 16

Hi guys today I’ll be bringing something a bit different for you guys, known as ‘team coal, niche gold’ for this time I will take a few teams in vgc 16 of mine which weren’t top quality and I will discuss the Antimeta choices and Pokemons that I used in that team and describe their potential, hopefully you will like these pokemons, so without further ado let’s get into this post: Team 1: Zygarde and friends: Oh boy I don’t know what I thought when I decided to make this team, but the concept is something that I will discuss and also I’ll mention this team became a collection of pokemons that I wanted to use at that time, especially zygarde and aegislash the main reason for failure of this team was that well I am using a zygarde: Zygarde @ Sitrus Berry   Ability: Aura Break   Level: 50   EVs: 244 HP / 4 Atk / 20 Def / 20 SpD / 220 Spe   Jolly Nature   - Land's Wrath   - Safeguard   - Protect   - Glare Zygarde has a lot of potential but it is just bad, it can cut
