VGC Strong Team Leads

VGC STRONG TEAM LEADS

1.Psy,kilLeer
   Gothitelle + Gyarados

.Gyarados

Gyarados (M) @ Wacan Berry

Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 20 SpD / 64 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Taunt
- Leer
- Waterfall

gyarados has always (almost) has been used as an offensive threat but its strategic value is also great.many people use tickle on their gothitelle to lower their opponents attk and defense stat this thing get the same job done quicker by activating its ability intimidate on switch in and on the very first turn going for a leer..... :)
.Gothitelle
Gothitelle @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 128 Def / 252 SpA / 128 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Protect
- Swagger
- Foul Play

this Pokemon is bulky and strong enough to create some synergy with gyarados it keeps its opponents locked in on stat drops so they can,t recover them by a switch and finishes them off quickly by using leer favored psyshocks

2.Leech tag
   Gothitelle + Gogoat/Ludiculo

. Gothitelle

Gothitelle @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 128 Def / 252 SpA / 128 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Protect
- Swagger
- Foul Play

gothitelle,s ability shadow tag does half the work on this one a better goth will be with a sitrus berry o it because its partner needs to hold the item leftovers for a must.

.Gogoat/Ludiculo

Ludicolo @ Leftovers
Ability: Rain Dish
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Modest Nature
- Leech Seed
- Fake Out
- Protect
- Giga Drain

Gogoat @ Leftovers
Ability: Sap Sipper
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 132 Def / 120 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leech Seed
- Horn Leech
- Protect
- Substitute

both these pokemon work equally well (ludiculo a bit more in rain mode if so) gogoat will get 3x damage counters back n his fullest along with his drain move horn leech, whereas ludicolo will get four if u do have rain on your team along with its draining move giga drain.... :)

3.Teleburst
  Gardevior +Exploud

. Gardevior
Gardevoir @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Telepathy
EVs: 252 Def / 252 Spe
Bold Nature
- Ally Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Helping Hand
- Dazzling Gleam

Gardevior such like gyarados has a hidden supportive aspect to it rather than scarfed or specs.i like to use that side of gardevior by covering exploud,s fighting weakness by ally switch it is also safe from shadow balls launched on it by Pokemons

.Exploud
Exploud @ Normal Gem
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 164 HP / 92 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def
- Boomburst
- Fire Blast
- Ice Beam
- Protect

YAAY!!! we finally have a gem in gen 6 and who uses it? no one..........
but exploud may be born for the only normal gem with creating synergy with gardevior,s telepathy and helping hand this thing can KO almost anything!

4.Violent thunder
  Politoed +Zapdos

.Politoed
Politoed @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 188 Def / 68 SpD
Bold Nature
- Helping Hand
- Icy Wind
- Protect
- Scald

nothing to say about this pokemon its one of the cutest cuz its a baby with that little baby like hair on top of its head and thoses cute pink cheeks :) but drizzle is its main job here with the helping hand support!

.Zapdos
rain boosts water attacks and what else does it do GIVES 100% ACCURACY TO THUNDER!!!!!!!!!
what can be the better time so use these two competitive pokemon together and sweep with those overpowering thunders!

5.Water for HP :D
  Vapoureon+lapras

.Vapoureon
Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def
Modest Nature
- Surf
- Helping Hand
- Brine
- Protect

.Lapras

Lapras @ Assault Vest
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 116 Def / 252 SpA / 140 Spe
Timid Nature
- Surf
- Freeze-Dry
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam

these two pokemon make good leads for hp recovery but are weak to some types which should be watched out for but what they have alot is HP stat and can recover themselves while damaging the opponents

Thankyou for reading through! :)

The King of The Jungle: Calyrex Ice Rider VGC Regulation G Team Report

So as Regulation G just dropped, my initial plan was to let the metagame form itself out before I step into the game. However, after seeing some videos on Youtube that discussed popular cores, I got excited to try one of them out, and quite a simple composition too. It worked out quite well for me so here’s a mini team report for those looking to find a team to play the format: I dabbled in this format a bit with a horrid Kyogre team being rounded out with Rillaboom, Incineroar and Farigaraf and fell flat quick. Teambuilding: These Pokémon didn’t really gel together in harmony and there wasn’t much synergy or inspiration to go off of. I did get swept 2x by an Ice Rider Calyrex. Later when I watched a video that mentioned the Trick Room core of Calyrex Ice Rider, Incineroar, Farigaraf and Ursaluna, I felt like it was quite worthy to give it a try. I know from my experience thus far that the majority of dedicated Trick Room teams do work on a sort of flow chart function. Most basical

CHALK Analyses: A Better Understanding.

Today I’ll be discussing one of the most highly argument’d topic in the VGC 15 season. You already know from the title and I know how late I got all because of my laziness and getting distracted a lot by other things during the time of some holidays I took the time to write up this analyses for you guys, it’s better late than never right? I myself have used CHALK core teams to success and have really liked them, in this post I will cover up analyses on CHALK and other topics that can relate to it, let’s get started: Artwork by @yudeyude123 on twitter =================================================== What is CHALK: This weird looking word is an abbreviation for the words Cresselia, Heatran, Amoonguss, Landorus and Kangaskhan. This is actually a penta-core of mons used at great success in the VGC15 season as most of you are familiar with it, it even won Worlds 2015 in the hands of Shoma Honami (SHADEViera), this trend also originates from his homeland of Japan and many o

Death by Perish Trap: Teambuild VGC 15

Hi guys i am back with another teambuild post, and sorry for my absense for some time. this time i will be putting forward a team of mine built a long time ago but it still works to this day. i posted it elsewhere to get some advice on it and now it is up to it's full potential and i thought i was ready to post it as a teambuild post on the blog.i finally almost perfected the execution of the trap against the meta. idk why it wasn't up it was completed bout 2 weeks ago though, let's get started with the team: Teambuilding thought and process: as we already know that W olfe Glick is the king of perish trap so my first step was to take his team break it down and then rebuild it up to my playstyle and comfort-ability, i took his regional team tried spotting out weaknesses (there were non :P) and then ended up copying his team couple of times. i decided to build right from the start picking up some notes on his build to take guideline and picked up the following points: .
